A Simple List of my Previous Motorcycles
1988 Kawasaki Eliminator 250

This beast lasted me from 15 1/2 years old, to 16 years old. Powered by a 250cc Ninja engine, complete with a 14,000 RPM redline, it SCREAMED as it slowly approached freeway speeds. Picked it up from a motorcycle junk yard as a learners bike. It never ran perfect, but it served it's purpose. Good times.
2001 Suzuki GS500

This one lasted from age 16 to 22. I put well over 25k miles on it, with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Oil changes and tires is all it ever needed. I added a Vance and Hines full exhaust system, K&N Filter, and rejetted the carb. It was a good learners bike, that could cruise at 80 all day long. I'd recommend it to anyone.
2000 Buell M2 Cyclone

I got this Buell used, with all the engine goodies already installed: Full D&D Exhaust, K&N Race Air Filter, and a carb kit. I added fog lights, Banke rear sets, and a luggage rack. It did everything I wanted, and I put a good amount of miles on it, but it tended to blow a gasket after every long trip. It was worth it for awhile, because it was a blast to ride. But replacing seals got old. It did introduce me to the world of Buells.

2005 Buell XB12Scg Lightning Low

Bought used, this bike was to hold me over for an estimated 3-4 years, until I could find a used XB12XT Ulysses (plans that then changed when the new XB12XT's went on fire-sale). The bike came with the a Special Ops tailgunner exhaust and a K&N filter, as well as a small windshield. I added a luggage rack, heated grips, and a few other goodies. A very short wheelbase, with a torque monster of a motor made for a VERY fun ride. The luggage rack, windshield, and passenger pegs were removed upon my purchase of the Ulysses, and it became my solo ride. Still comfortable for 500+ mile days, and it got about 55 MPG on the road. I loved the bike, the torque and handling were unbeatable, but it was only good on pavement, and I was itching to get off-road. The Ulysses covers all the same bases as this bike, albeit not quite as enjoyably, but that meant this one had to go in favor of a dual-sport. Some picture here.

I put nearly 30,000 miles on this bike after buying it new in the fire sale after the closing of Buell American Motorcycles. I traveled to Alaska and back with it, and will never forget that trip.
Unfortunately, due to poor dealership warranty work, it was plagued with issues, so much so that after 3 years, Harley Davidson agreed to purchase the bike back from me.
It was a cool, unique, and very fun machine.
2012 Yamaha Super Tenere

My Tenere page can be found HERE.
The Tenere was a great bike, very capable of just about anything; better off-road than any bike it's size should be, easily capable of 600, 700, or even 800 mile days touring, capable of hauling a passenger and camping gear without braking a sweat, and reliable as any bike out right now. Our time was cut very short when I drug the crash bars on the pavement and lowsided the bike. It went off the road and down the mountainside, and was promptly totaled out.
Ride/Crash report is HERE.
